I've been here myself. I think this is a superb image; the angle of the plaque plus the road lead the eye along the length of Glencoe. You have got nice colours and sharp detail in the foreground rocks and little floral tribute. All capped off with a dramatic sky. I am sure the family of "Ralston" would be pleased.

Excellent dof and a superb composition, very sympathetically done. I'm assuming this must be where someone's ashes have been left/buried and not a body.

This looks super Bill, lovely rich colour textures and great dof and spot on composition. My only gripe is that the foreground grass and rocks look very grainy to me, possibly a little over-processed,the background looks smoother, but superb none the less.

a sentimental find edged into this beautiful landscape.....wonderful viewpoint, colours & clarity Smile
Quite a viewpoint for somebody who loved Scotland and maybe this glen in particular. I have to say that it's probably both there now, the the tributes and small monuments were becoming so numerous that they were being taken down, the authorities (sorry to be so vague) announced some time back that they would be removing all plaques and memorials unless given permission to erect them.
