Desert Dog

By billma
This dog belonged to the Navajo man selling jewelry at the spot in Monument Valley. I bought a beautiful money clip and took a few shots of the dog before he woke up and wanted pets.

nicely shot and well composed, it makes for something a little unusual of Monument Valley

The dog makes it more than a scenic shot.

He came in handy for a rather unusual foreground to this magnificent scene. Wonderful.

Most definitely not your average postcard shot! Brilliant to include the dog - and what a view he's missing!

This is a very special image indeed. Sometimes (and only rarely) a photograph comes along that gets right under the skin and makes the hair stand up on end. This is one of them!

when i saw the thumbnail the colours and composition reminded me of Dali. The sort of image that could be manipulated to create something along the lines of the master, particularly the way that light patch of ground appears to almost mirror the dog.......................or have I just had too much to drink tonight lol
