About

I'm 73 happily married with a son and 2 grandkids ( Peck & Scratch).
Cameras have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember taking mainly slides to show to local Rambler & Garden groups.
Gardening as been our main interest and in 2000 we opened up to a paying public raising over 400 for the local Hospice.
Sadly , in 2001 my Wife had a Stroke which meant a complete change of life style.
As I can no longer get out, Ive set up a "Home Studio" and take inspiration from the many fine examples on EPZ.
Other interests include Drawing & Painting (examples can be seen on our Website.
It is only since joining EPZ that I've started taking an interest in photography again.
I'd like to thank everyone for looking at my humble efforts.

This is an excellent portfolio of portraits with some very innovative images. I never cease to wonder at the votes some images get. It seems that you only get a large number of votes if you vote for eveyone else and only say nice things about their pictures = then they will vote for you. I think that you have a superb set of pictures here that are far more worthy than the number of votes they have received. Andy

Thank you for your comment on Debra's pic with the scarf. You pointed out the eyes should be a bit more sharper, and I thank you, and I agree... is using the sharpening tool the only way to acheive this? ... or can you recomend a better way? You're much appreciated and thanks. James
