Wide Eyed

By BillS
I haven't had chance to do much for the last couple of weeks.
This one was an experiment with the lights , the main light was to her left and very low , fill in at a low intensity.
I wanted to pick out her face and still have a bit of light on the hat.

I can't beleive this image as so little attention, when veiwed large all the detail is marvellous, an image to be proud of Bill.

Love the detail on the creases in the hat, and the light brings the shape of the brim out beautifully. I think she has a great face, anyway, but this is one of my favourite shots of her, Bill. Nice work.

Your lighting experiments paid off Bill, a first class image.

Hi Bill,
I like this portrait,at first glance it made me think of an air hostess or a fifties type classic movie with the glamour, hair back and the hat.I agree with Allie about it being one of my favourite shots of her too.Wonderful portrait.Take care.AnnSmile
