Approaching Snowstorm

By BillyGoatGruff
It seemed appropriate for my first upload to select something from my first outing with a DSLR.
Taken from St. Agnes head In Cornwall in Feb 2006.
We'd sheltered behind the trig point at the top of St. Agnes Beacon from this guy's smaller, younger brother and after he'd passed over I turned around to see this beauty hurtling in off the sea.
It was then a mad dash to the car and down to the cliff edge to get set up before we were engulfed.
Too wide for a single shot, so this turned out to be my first (hand-stitched, two-shot) panorama, too.
Very strong, freezing winds and no gloves (duh...) didn't make it very easy.
My partner stayed in the car; smart girl.
