Bank Holiday Monday

By BillyGoatGruff
!4:06 hrs, stood in the lee of the harbour wall at Porthleven trying to shelter from what felt like a force 6 gale, getting soaked after my lovely wife had bought me lunch.

Marvellous Grin

It was worse around the corner!

As always, thanks for dropping in.

Certainly dramatic Bill - almost feel the power of the waves.

Looks like you were sheltering by the church here Bill?
The best shots are other side when a 'real gale' is blowing
waves straight over the church!!!
this really suits the mono, as a very dramatic image
and for me a winner, perfect, and well worth a soaking.......Grin

Cheers all!

Quite right Lillian, although it was quite windy enough for me!
We could barely open the pub door on the other side! And far too much water flying about. I think we found the only spot where I could keep the lens reasonably dry.....didn't even comtemplate using the camera for quite a while being just happy to watch the show, until my wife reminded me to fetch it from the car: we were only there for lunch! Grin
