Haven't had many opportunities for a decent landscape shoot of late, nor indeed for very much other than work and home stuff.

Did find the time to process a few shots from my (very) occasional Aircraft portrait series.
Originally shot in September 2010 when I inadvertently stumbled upon an airshow at the now defunct Filton Airfield in Bristol.
Been pondering the shots I have of this Venerable Old Lady for quite some time and am pretty pleased with what I came up with.
A few other images may emerge in the next few days, if I have time.

No colour adjustments other than shifting the WB to around 7800K. A few contrast tweaks using layer masks to finally get where I wanted this to be.
No doubt it will crash and burn....

I like your treatment of this.
The BBC are doing a Cold War series at the moment, this fits it perfectly.
