This is an extremely attractive scene but I cannot let it go by without mentioning the portrait orientation adopted by the photographer. In this case I cannot think of a reason why this option was chosen. The strength of the picture lies with the foreground rock and we could have seen more of it if the traditional landscape orientation had been chosen.
Landscape format 3:2 is almost perfect for human viewing and scenics such as this should under normal circumstances be rendered in this way.
Of course there are exceptions, but unless someone was bathing naked just out of shot [thereby causing a distraction] I feel this good shot could have been so much better.

Thanks for you comments John there were lots of people on the shoreline and I did remove one from this image.I feel this works but it is not perfect I learnt the rules a very long time ago and I have been breaking the ever since. I had a look at your web site I was impressed, some very nice looking pictures

I think this shot stands up well in the portrait format. In the landscape format you would have had to choose between the sky and the rocks, and I think they both are worthy of being in the photo. I would personally have prefered the horizon to have been a little higher just so the photo isn't cut quite in half, but other than that its a nice shot of one of my favourite places
