Another Elmley sunset

By Bit_Blurry
And another one...

Could have probably done this better now with my new graduated filters, but I didn't have them at the time.
Loved the firey Orange in the clouds, but I find it difficult to really capture it.

A good sky and a well balanced composition. The grad maybe would have evened out the exposure of the foreground as it is a bit dark. Maybe a tweak to bring out the colours in the sky and (and this is no indication of your user name Wink) it isn't quite sharp. The main problem though is the dust spots and marks in the sky which can be taken out with the clone tool if Picasa has one (not that up with different processing thingies). Smile

Thanks for the comments Martin, I'm sure it can be improved. I've only just subscribed to E2 so I was rushing a few pictures in to build up my gallery a little.
I've recently been pointed to PIXLR which I should be able to use to enhance the image and remove the dust spots.
Those constant spots were the bane of my life, and the reason that I sold the D100 in the end, within a couple of weeks of cleaning it, there'd be fresh ones on there and I lost umpteen images because of it.

Don't worry, my username was chosen with a reason, most of my images aren't quite sharp Wink
One problem is that it was hand held, I've since learned the importance of a tripod so hopefully my low light stuff will improve a bit.

I'll have a go at the procesing in pixlr and see if I can improve it Smile

I like this shot Chris.. the water leading in is great and the colours are good also...

I have done a MOD for you, enhanced the colours in the sky for you and lightened the FG slightly. I agree with martin, it is not very sharp (but hey i am guilty of that also). I have also cloned out the dust spots for you...

I hope you find this ok!
