Quiet contemplation

Took the new Sigma 150-500 to a falconry display to try it out on a few aerial shots to get some practise in for wild birds.
Ironically, the birds were actually flying too close to try it out!
I did get some reasonable portrait type images though, and I'm impressed with the sharpness and detail on this beautiful little Saker Falcon from this "budget" glass.

Post processing is just by "I'm feeling lucky" in Picasa, which did make a little difference although to be fair, the camera had already done a pretty good job of processing into JPEG.
