I noticed the drips of water coming off the trees above so decided to get a quick snap.
After approximately 45643 attempts, I finally got one...

Thanks both, appreciated.
It was a stunningly beautoful spot, I just couldn't do it justice with my lack of ability.
Would a polariser (didn't have one at the time) have helped to take the glare off? or would that just have removed atmospheric reflection do you think?

nice reflections, also like transparency of water allowing you to see the river bed

Worth the wait.

A circular polarizer would have the same effect at polarozed sunglasses,- you would have less glare; be able to see under the water more; and the colours would be deeper.

So yes, - you would have benefited from using one.

The main issue I see here, apart from glare, is that you need to compose by cropping to place your long awaited drip on a third.

In the mod, I used the highlight tool in CS4 to tone down glare; cropped; and sharpened the splash.

Hope you find this constructive,

Thank you both for the comments.
Thanks for the mod Willie, that's improved things no end. It's certainly a lot more scenic just with the reduced glare let alone the sharpening Smile
