Fingers Crossed

By blackett
Lewis Hamilton exits Club corner during practice for the F1 British Grand Prix.

I had the pleasure of meeting fellow ephotozine F1 photographer vfast, real name Mat. Incredibly, I recognised him from his Portfolio pic and waved and shouted at him to get his attention as he walked past.

I hope Lewis is ok for the start of the European GP after today's awful crash.

1/125th at F8.

Cracking image Ian, great panning technique. Should be an interesting race tomorrow, I reckon Lewis will be even more fired up than ever.

HAIL THE RETURN OF SIR BLACKETT!

I did try and ignore him but he's even louder than an F1 car at full chat! Top bloke.

Oh this pic aint bad either! Git!

Really hope Lewis is allowed to race. He'll finish 3rd i reckon.

Cheers guys, I spent the whole of the second practice at Club trying to get this one shot as sharp as possible. At the same time Mat had walked the entire circuit getting shots from every angle possible! I am getting this one printed in a panoramic 55.5 x 20cm format, and will mount and frame it in a silver panoramic frame for my wall. Should look good. IanSmile
