A lovely 'finale' Krystal to your set . This gives an entirely different dimension to the image, but once again enhances the light , shadows and reflections. A truly beautiful and cleverly worked set of images , so very well done!!!!!!
Take care....Pauline

Lovely image, like the reflections.
Thanks for your comments on my shot, I also thought it looked like something singing to the moon. Thought I had better not say that in case folk thought I was completely nuts Smile. Moira

Really like this monochrome, B & W rendering, Krystal. Artistically-toned & contrasted photograph with that very nice light & composition. Well done.

This is image, where art attempts to as closely approximate 'logic," as it is allowed to venture. Logic (and its derivative, Mathematics) are necessarily "tautological;" They lay out the necessary, and the absolutely indispensable elements that we speak of -- in our very colloquially manner -- as "truth." They constitute the schematic, the infrastructure, and the collection of calcium that allows us to "stand erect," when confronted with questions that must be answered "yes," or "no," when we deal with that aspect of the Universe that will only respond to enquires of that nature. The point of this pervasive element of our collective being is to uncover, and unmask the nature of the constantly lurking doubts that we have about "this place," and our place in it. This is the easy part, because we are enormously gifted and talented at pursuing the "rational." We just don't just simply "want" to know, we "NEED" to know! But Logic and Mathematics are not "guides;" they are tools. "Guidance" is the far more complex of the various (almost countless) instruments that teach us about this place. It possesses no inherent "logic," and it isn't always "kind." It is entirely possible that we are the most creative entities in the entire Universe. It's equally conceivable that we are also the most intractably destructive. We're here, and we are utterly, and inalterably responsible for what we do to this place. We are not leaving this place any time soon (at least not collectively, I hope). So, we had better get it right. We possess the tools...we may simply be lacking in their proper application. The human brain ("mind" is a reification, and a simple distraction) is the most powerful, and insatiable parasite on this entire planet. It had better learn to "domesticate" itself, or we are in very deep trouble, in the not too distant future. And I happen to be an incorrigible optimist, by the way. Great work, Krystal! And you do realize, I would think, that I would not have uttered a single word of this, without having first viewed your series of images. So, that allows me to shift the entire responsibility for this over to you. You're welcome. Now, see what you've done?

Hello Dylan, thanks for your dissertation on my work. Everyone appreciates the abstract but... I had to decypher some of the text. Logic and phylosopy occassionally cross paths : "I think, therefore I am" Art is not so cut and dry, art is not action and consequence. Art is inspirtion to a great extent, often incorporating not only thoughts and design, but emotions of the artist as well. Thats what people relate to. You once mentioned one can learn technique but art comes from within. I take that responsibility seriously and embrace it with great joy. If you like it, we find common cause Smile

What happened to the votes? I see they changed the format and as a result the votes were wiped out while the comments remain. I noticed some of the paying members like NeilWigan also lost their votes on their pf. Put those votes back, each comment is equal to a vote.
