Artistically-composed capture with excellent clarity & color. The rather harsh light, emanating from the doorway, I think, somehow, detracts from the overall thrust of the image. I find my eye being forced towards the light in the door, & not towards the lovely green vase on the antique wooden table. I would recommend capturing this 'ensemble again,' if you can, Krystal, using a different perspective, pov, and angle. Use the available natural light, but you may be forced to use a high ISO or a tripod. Just my constructive thoughts. I do like your creativity, & imagination, regarding 'interior design.' It seems, to me, that this may be 'your calling in life.' Stay well, my Friend, & have a wonderful Weekend.

Thanks Peter for the great comment.
Since I can't re-visit this place for now, I can try digital manipulation or artwork to change the doorway. The light here is extremely bright and the interior very dark for cooling effect. This is the perception when you are standing there. Yes it is extreme.

Blown highlights and verticals off vertical spoil this one.

Grin Love the extreme harsh light flooding in,so natural, gives the shot that hot atmosphere,at the same time you have the effect in the glass, and the wooden beams of the ceiling are great, all it wants is a Mexican Ban dido to walk in wearing a poncho, like out of a spaghetti Western. This is a well taken picture that could be used as a back drop for a film set,i love it.

Great sw image Krystal . I also like the harsh light, I know all about it, this is actually what you see on the high Sierras - blinding light - almost like going to heavenSmile
Jabe has a great suggestion putting a bandido poncho dude in the doorway.
I'll try to do Mod for you - next upload.
keep well.

I posted this message on your next upload MODs version, but I want to post it here too because they go together.
Great work Krystal. I don't understand why are they trying to "change" your perfectly great design concept which IS THE STORY you want to tell: the huge DISPARITY of light and dark as seen from inside. I think they are being disrespectful to you. Critique is one thing, but to say you must go back and redesign a perfectly beautiful artistic shot sounds vindictive. Some people are strictly "paint by numbers" by-the-book guys, have no artistic vision. You are an artist not afraid to step outside the box. Thats what sets you apart Krystal. I like your work it stands out from the rest. Theirs is mudane. I like this original image because its true, that blinding light is true. I much prefer it to the cloning of aspen trees in the doorway (your Mod next upload). As far as Modifications go, I think Jamm's Mod with a gun-toting poncho-gangster in the doorway is funny and I'll take that for humor.
