"Crivens!"... or following my last post... Bad Hair Day 2. This little chap was spotted on a beach in one of the wilder parts of the North Cornish Coast. I'm sure he was up to no good.

Having grown up in Norway and Canada, I have not had the good fortune to come across these wee men - however, in Norway we have the little nisse/tomte and many other names that it goes by. I was quite convinced as a child that when I went out to the outhouse in the barn that the little fjøsnisse was watching me..........

You have a great imagination - such a fun image.

Congratulations to Richard (DixClix) for spotting that it's the cry of a surprised Nac Mac Feegle, one of Terry Pratchet's Wee Free Men... so to answer Moira's question, there would be almost certainly hordes of them hiding down there behind him all falling out with each other.
