I can see the potential, but for me I would have;
1) got to my knees and taken it form a lower angle to give the flowers more impact in the frame.
2) if possible moved to the left and turned the camera to the right to make the most of the path being a lead in line.
3) boosted brightness and sat. of the purple in PS.
Just some ideas.

Unfortunately, only No 1 would have been possible in this case.
To step off the path meant flattening Bluebells, which is not only a bit destructive of the enviroment, but would have not been fair on people coming after me.
I don't have PS, so can't do much about altering brightness etc.

Good composition and lead through the picture with the path. It was good not to get any sky in as that would have been white and distracting....instead you are contained in the woodland and your eye is fixed on the path.
It was a really nice morning, we'll haveto do it again
