Rose

By BobFancy
Been away with work for a while and desperate t get back on ephotozine. This is one from my archive which was an early attempt at a colour pop. Not sure I really like colour popping but if its subtle I think it can work well.

I have to admit I am a fan of colour popping, and did it quite a bit earlier in my portfolio, although now I'm getting to grips with a new camera and spend most of my time just trying to get the photo right, I like this but think it would havebeen more effective if everything but the lovely pink flower was completely desaturated, to me it looks a bitlike a work in progress, but each to their own, I hope you dont mind me saying, its just what I'd do Grin

Hey Lou, your comments are bang on. I was mucking about with Capture NX2. I kind of like this slightly sloppy look but I'm just not that convinced by the technique. There's a slightly more classic pop in my portfolio. Thanks

Love the rose - it looks like tissue paper.
