    Thank you Smile

HTC are pretty big now. They make a lot of phones that use the Android OS, but that one was a Windows phone. I think it was used more by business users at the time because it could do push email and things which was a bit of a rarity back then. It had a little keyboard that slid out from under the phone. It was a pretty heavy phone, but it was pretty good at the time! Thanks for the nice comment

Thank you all very much for the kind words Smile

It was actually a beautiful evening to be out taking photos. I think it was in October sometime last year because it started to get really chilly when the sun had gone down. I also got some amazing photos of the sun setting. I know they're kind of 2 a penny, but with the high clouds the sky was a beautiful orangey/red colour. I could quite happily have stayed there for another few hours (I REALLY wanted to get a night shot of the bridge! I'd even recce'd out a couple of spots to prop the camera up given the lack of tripod that night!) but my "assistant" ie my partner - she'll kill me if she reads this!! Wink - was getting too cold so we called it a night.

This is probably one of (if not THE!) most photographed landmark in Bristol, but out of all the photos you see of it, a heck of a lot of them have obviously given no thought to composing the shot. Not that I'm an expert by any means, but I'm loving learning all the skills involved! Smile

Thanks again for the nice things you've said and for the votes! Smile

    Thanks a lot Smile

Phil: I think it might just need more depth of field? Also, if you look at the top of the sheet music, you can see the page is slightly turned up which I totally missed when I was taking the photo! I guess I need to look a bit more carefully before I take the picture! I only got the camera a couple of weeks ago (it's my first DSLR), so I'm still learning that too!!

At least I have a few more weeks before I need to get anything made up, so I can have another crack at it!
