Faenol Old Hall, Y Felinheli, North Wales

By WelshKiwi
Wandering around an old Estate one day, I found this door, it just made me want to peep inside....

I satisfied my curiosity, got caught, told off and told to move on, but not before I got this image, so its a bit of a grab shot.

Its a slide once again.

Ive modified it if anyone wants to show me what they would have done with the imaqe, its amazing how much I learn from you all when you do this. Just let me know HOW you did it ok. (oh, and for some reason Im having problems getting the EPZ site to accept my images larger than 700 in width, and yes my resolution is 72)

As your all probably becoming aware by now, Doors and Windows are a pet project of mine.

And MY "Inscape, Outscape" seems to have the theme that I always compose in this way, its in my sub conciousness....

Have a nice day guys Smile

Thans for stopping by and I appreciate your comments, but I appreciate you telling me whats wrong with it more.

Lee Smile

Good study in decay and a blue door is always an attractive proposition. One minor niggle is I think the crop is a bit tight, in that you've cut off the bottom of the door.

No quibbles with this at all - it's my kind of shot!

If I was shooting, I think I'd go in even closer and isolate one single element - part of the broken window, for example. Or the hanging basket and part of the window. Or the part-open door. There's so much potential here - I hope you took full advantage of it!

Love the colours in this. Apparently my mum left the front door of their house like this when she went to work this morning - the postie left the mail on the mat inside and left the door open too lol Good job everything was still in the house when she got home hours later!
