About

Photography has been a major thing for me for a long time.

I started in the days of film negative with a Practika BC1.
Then progressed to a Canon AE1.
Then a Canon T90.
After that, medium format, Mamiya M1000s, then Bronica ETRSi.

I used to print my own black and white prints in a makeshift darkroom which I really enjoyed.

Love black and white.
Enjoy landscapes and portraiture.
I seem to have a special knack with b&w art nude.

Over the last few years I have been watching the digital situation with interest, and now have invested in a digital camera (Canon) and my photography is enjoying a new revival.

The digital revolution is fantastic and adds so much more creativity and ease of use.

Currently use a Canon 5D mark III.
Also a Sony A7R.

I hope to improve my photography and learn lots while I'm here!

What I find particularly impressive with your portfolio is the consistent use of the same model. Rather than photographing different models in the same pose, and believing it is something original, you are really challenging yourself and coming up with different images.
you have a very impressive collection of glamours images. i really like is the fact that even the nudes are subtle

what i really really like is the fact that even the nudes are subtle - well done for NOT taking the same approach as many others
Cracking portfolio and an inspirational one for somebody who would like to move away from the familiar and explore other subject matters

Why haven't I seen your PF before? This is something quite magical you have created here and whats more, its really good to see the progression you made as you practiced your art. There is definitely a creative growth as time goes on in this. Superb stuff. Really lovely and something I would love to aspire to one day.....I have some way to go yet.....
