Kinda Kandinski #2 by Bonvilston

Kinda Kandinski #2

Thanks kate and Joline. I have put a full description of just how I work, with an example, on my blog. If you want to know what a crazy mind produces this stuff and why, take a read Wink .......Peter

Missile silo

It is not what it is that matters. It is the beauty that you saw and captured.....................Peter

In Silent Prayer by NDODS

In Silent Prayer

A thoughtful image, as well as a brilliant one, nathan..................Peter

Circling the Lampost by RLF

Circling the Lampost

What a fantastic piece of composition. ( How many times did you have to ask him to fly round again to get this shot ? ? ? Wink. )

The Lookers On by Irishkate

The Lookers On

Kate, this is one of those shots to remind you of a funny event. Can't, therefore judge it artistically, but I bet it makes a lot of people laugh, especially when they read your description.....Grin......Peter

Dove of Peace by Joline

Dove of Peace

The circular design of the window is perfect and you have really made the most of it in this shot, Joline................Peter

Flags by TrevBatWCC

A lovely image to capture. It is a great study in colour. ( Shame about the people - why can't they leave photographers in peace for once !!! Wink )

Boats by saltireblue

Excellent Malc. The composition is really abstract and concentrates the eye on just what is important.....Peter

*** by vikma19

Simple but stunning Vikma. It does look a bit like you oversaturated the blue in the original sky and then were left with the very grainy sky, but maybe that was exactly your intention.

Fields of Gold by NDODS

Fields of Gold

I like the crop of version one, but version two seems to have more vibrancy about it. All that grain needs a bit of" sparkle".....Peter

Born Again Biker Spanner by Scippy

Born Again Biker Spanner

Nice. I like the faded memories of the bike in the background. Totally in fitting with the character himself. Great work......Peter

lovely flowing lines. Full of motion. But you know what it says to me ??? - "The wink". Now don't ask me why ? .....PeterGrin

lovely shot, Doerthe. It has such simple lines and vibrant colours....Peter

Red 'n' Yellow by NDODS

Red 'n' Yellow

I like this one a lot. The tweo bits of yellow and red have a presence way beyond the area they take up in the image - and that is, ofcourse, down to your good compositional skills. I especially like the way that you have been more adventurous than most in taking the chance on an unorthodox size. It really works well.......Peter

Elspeth by Irishkate

Good photo, no doubt. My disappointment is that every time I see a big tattoo on a girl I like it less and less. It is not a fashion that I welcomed.( My daughter has an arm like a piece of well used blotting paper Sad ).Peter - sorry Kate

Framed Yarrow by Irishkate

Framed Yarrow

How can you make this into a beautiful seen ? How many people will have just walked past it, camera in hand, and seen nothing. Photography is all in the mind.........Peter

Total by Dave_Henderson

Very competent image built , but for me it misses some kind of focus - some "punch" - can't quite put my finger on why, but I have seen many more of your creations that have "it".....Peter

we will be together.. by PranavMishra

we will be together..

A great dreamlike image. It does create a feeling of a moonlit walk, but for me it gives me the feeling of a 1950s detective book cover.....peter

Swans by PrunellaCara

nice shots, but I think you picked the right one to feature. It is a great composition with one swan being just a little higher in the image than the other.

Ménage à trois by KingBee

Ménage à trois

Very tight cropping, but in this case it works well. .......Peter

A lovely detail shot. very impressive......peter

Black Over Cottage by chris-p

Black Over Cottage

I usually prefer mono shots like this, but in this particular case losing the bright orange sunlight at the bottom would be too big a price to pay. Its the first one for me . .............Peter

Summer Lady

The lengths some wedding photographers will go to to get the right composition......Wink. This is a lovely photo, despite the unusual seating arrangements......Peter

Comin' around by Relic01

Comin' around

This looks like it could have been a very dangerous place to be. What a brave photographer you are. ( but well worth the danger !) . I think the dark clouds are its weakest point and personally I would probably either have an unorthodox crop and just cut them out, or use a graduated filter to darken them even more and create a sense of looming disaster...Peter

around the next corner by m111mmh

around the next corner

Nice mono and good processing to highlight the centre of the image. The rest is now a mystery, very much in tune with the title - and I presume your intention. A very carefully thought through image.................Peter

Geocracy 1 by Bonvilston

Geocracy 1

Tanya, That is exactly what I wanted. The Geo bit of the title mergers the Geo of geometry with the Geo of geography. GrinGrinGrin
