To me it is better than the previous.. because in the previous, lovely as though was, the viewer's attention was devoted in a major part to imagine a theme, and unifying the various features.. the image hence did not make that instant impact.. The theme thus created by the viewer - the fire, smoke and the waves as I said - was still not concrete because of the inclusion of stronger elements like your sharp geometric figures..
But here you have provided an objectivity.. the circles represent speakers, the waves you present quite nicely, a uniform color that goes quite well.. There is a better integration as well as uniformity..
This is just my personal view..
