A wet day in Tulle

By born2bongo
It was just as wet in the Correze last year as it was here. We happened to decide to explore Tulle the day after M Hollande won the election and didn't even realise till we got there that this was his constituency. The main square looked lovely, even in the rain, but was spoiled by scaffolding and temporary platforms presumably left over from the election campaign.

When the rain eased off enough we went for a stroll away from the main part. France is full of lovely old buildings so it's good to find something different and the lovely golden wall was a breath of fresh air on a dreadful June day.

We went back to Tulle on a better day with a better camera and they'd only painted the wall white! Not the same at all
