Throop Mill Pond

By HelenHiggs
Another shot from Throop Mill. Still not really satisfied with it. Hate the turquoise sky and the edges of the tree leaves against it.

I've put it up anyway, hoping some folks can tell me how to make it better. Would a filter help with the sky? What kind? I think the edges of the trees are down to editing, but I can't get what I want in Lightroom or Photoshop. Any advice would be most welcome

The mill is a few hundred yards away from the farm where I keep my horse, so I see it every day and can go back to practice as often as I want. You have been warned!

I actually like the colours in this, most especially the water and the reflections.

You may find that a polarizing filter is what you need, Helen, to deepen your sky colours.
