OMG Louise I was so thinking of your yesterday's posting I wrote the wrong flower name. I have a magenta peony in my garden, and also tulips, just me having a senior/junior moment Wink Dave.

Two lovely shots, Louise. I have to say my preference is with V 1 - the detail, texture of the petals and the soft lighting are all so good.

Lovely detail in this. I think I'd prefer a square, or even landscape, orientation to get more of the beautiful flower in the frame, in both versions.
