Normally the sort of scene that I wouldn't look at once, let alone twice. I would actually put this on my wall (high praise indeed!).

Hello Boyd.

I hope you dont mind but Im practising my critique-ing skills on you. I would apperciate any comments you have on my practising if you have the time Smile

I really like this image, it has a great fresh feeling to it and makes me want to go into those dunes to see whats there so the lead in you have created really works.

I love the texture and the colours of the marram bushes and the light on them is causing lovely tones and shadows.

The sky is different and I like how you have captured the colours and compsed the image with the land in the distance. My only critiscism and I could be wrong but is the horizon level, or is it a trick on my eyes and its the shape of the land thats making it seem not level.

I dont think it matters all that much and I think this image would make a really nice print on a wall, its really relaxing and calming.
