One from Rhossili Bay.
In the distance you can see Worm's Head.
Like this Boyd, nice fine art feel to it.
Normally the sort of scene that I wouldn't look at once, let alone twice. I would actually put this on my wall (high praise indeed!).
Marram....? Can you smoke it...
Bit spiky...and I don't smoke.
Thats not what I've heard..
like this Boyd, the nice and bright approach works well.
Makes a change from underexposed and moody I suppose.
I hope you dont mind but Im practising my critique-ing skills on you. I would apperciate any comments you have on my practising if you have the time
I really like this image, it has a great fresh feeling to it and makes me want to go into those dunes to see whats there so the lead in you have created really works.
I love the texture and the colours of the marram bushes and the light on them is causing lovely tones and shadows.
The sky is different and I like how you have captured the colours and compsed the image with the land in the distance. My only critiscism and I could be wrong but is the horizon level, or is it a trick on my eyes and its the shape of the land thats making it seem not level.
I dont think it matters all that much and I think this image would make a really nice print on a wall, its really relaxing and calming.
Thank you for letting me practise on your image Boyd.
Thank you Lee for taking the time to comment, you're welcome to practise all you want on my pictures.
It is the land that makes the horizon look a bit wonky.
Beautiful detail and effect, light and tones and a lovely presentation.
Glad its back up
