Gate Keepers Cottage

By Ridgeway
Another from the stables,a terrible shame to see it this way.The previous image is from the inside of the building. The cottage would have faced the stable yard and what looks to be the business part of the set up.
In side the cottage standing with in the door frame I suddenly realised that I was standing beside ivy that had worked its way into the brick work and was gently discreetly destroying the frame work.

A wonderful old ruin Aidan.
I'd take out the telegraph wire though.
New look to your images?website address?
Hope you're well.
Bet this good in colour too with the ivy, destructive though it might be.

What a shame it has been allowed to go to rack and ruin, Aidan, it must have been beautiful in its heyday. Very well captured and presented. Carol
