Good sky Paul. Good exposure too and lots of depth of field. Good foreground interest with the rocks. You have made it a speciality getting these very clear reflections in the water. I do prefer though a composition such as St Mary's loch where the reflections are more contained. Here I find them slightly disconcerting with the large amount of cloud reflections and the clear line of the hills. It may have something to do with the composition where you have a very long expanse of water stretching into the distance. The water looks slightly unnatural to my eye. Maybe it is just me, I would be interested in what others have to say. it's a good shot all the same.

Best wishes

It's a pleasant scene but colours look muted. thought it was HDR initially, still not sure. Cant really suggest improvement - nice but not attention grabbing. Not quite as sharp as I would expect unless had help, but must be tripod, so lack of definition could be reduction in size.

I'm afraid it confuses me. It took me a few minutes to figure out what i was looking at. I think maybe the reflections are either too strong (or too good) and that sort of distorts the overall image.

Looking at it again, i think it is the reflections of the dark mountains in the water which distorts the image making it unnatural looking to the naked eye

Thanks for the comments so far. The image is not HDR, only a slight increase in contrast and saturation needed. I take ams99's point about the strong reflections - they were so clean that they tended to lift the far shore into mid-air!! Probably the same reason the water looked unnatural to CathR. This shot was looking west - I have another looking east which is, if anything, more mirror-like.
