I saw a theory years ago that the great Gothic cathedrals were inspired by trees and that the aisles and vaults were the trunks and canopies.

Not sure I buy that theory, but this shot is as close to convincing me as is possible! It really is like gazing up into a woodland canopy, and the toning is sublime.

A lovely shot that I find very interesting. I seem to find my eyes searching along the strong columbs to the top of the picture. Then back to the rotated roof in the bottom. I dont know if thats a good thing in general. But I like it alot.

This is my first post and its your photo that caught my eye.
