My grand-daughter was blowing bubbles and I thought it was a chance to play. I never realised how difficult they would be to capture in frame and in focus. Anyway - this one pleased me as it was not only in focus but the reflections of the kitchen window made it look like a floating, transparent eye to me.

Well, there goes my idea of photographing a bubble! Nice one Brian, it does look like an eye. Great colours in the bubble as well.

Sorry if I beat you to it John & Margaret. Why not try getting a double bubble or a different scene through the bubble? I had one or two crackers but which were either not framed properly or were out of focus. (Think of the bubble as a lens through which to look at the world)

I've tried and tried to get a picture like this Brian when the kids are blowing bubbles is so hard. Really well done, this is spot on.

Thanks all. sze - thanks for the info on how you shot your image - you were lucky they didn't confiscate your kit! (well done Smile I ran off about 10 frames, this was the best, another 2 "not bads" and the rest - RUBBISH.
