Dancing Bee

By brian1208
This was a touch of serendipidity - I was actually after the bee in flight before touchdown. I think it is one of the nicest bee shots I have, don't know what you will think. Shot at ISO 400 in RAW it was quite noisy so I have cleaned it up with NeatImage. For scale, the flower is a loganberry blossom.

Thanks Andy - I once had a boss who told me that the more experience he had the luckier he got. Maybe in my case its just that I have time to take a lot of shots?

Has a superb clarity about it without being oversharp, the colours also add to the softness of this image

Wonderful capture and a great image but insects must surely be hard to stuff and mount in these poses. Well done - click.

Excellent capture. Just enough blur on the wings and super colour and detail.

This shot shows exceptionally good timing, even if by accident, I like it.
