I love the use of the portrait format. The water leads you into the main subject perfectly.

I kept coming back to this one wondering whether to comment or not. There are a few things that IMHO need changing. I agree with Exup that the water nicely leads the viewer into the subject - but I think there's far too much of it and needs cropping. Also the sky is a bit on the pale side and would benefit from an increase in contrast as would the overall picture. I think, if it were me, I'd be inclined to boot-up my favourite image software and try out different approches with contrast and landscape/portrait formats. I think it has the making of a good picture.

Great picture, nicely balanced. The water has picked up the colours and detail in the sky but unfortunately the sky itself has been washed out..... you could try using one of the neutral density grey grad filters which would help preserve the sky detail while leaving the rest of the scene 'as it is'. You certainly make the most of the views up there don't you!! Mike.
