It's an interesting idea but she doesn't work for me as a ghost. She's the modern, real, touchable substance. The building itself seems far more ghostly, particularly in cold, gritty sepia. You have isolated her very neatly, but she doesn't look as though she could melt through that doorway...

I'm with Moira, really interesting eerie looking shot but the girl has too much substance to look like a ghost. Maybe if you had used a slower shutter still with her actually walking through the door it would have worked. I think you would need to de-saturate her cloak too to give more of a softer floaty feel.

I'm wondering if you added the ghost to the baths image, Brian? If so, it would be easy to reduce her opacity and desaturate the cloak a bit whilst you have her isolated.

I like the idea, and love those tiles on the walls. To get more of a haunted atmosphere, I think there needs to be a bit less light, perhaps leaving the two doorways well lit, but not the rest.

Compositionally, I feel the ghost is too far over to the right, but I do like her in the doorway, so that's not an easy thing to change.

Pamela.
