Thanks everyone for taking a look and for the kind comments, appreciated. Taken a few weeks ago in Devon this has been cropped fairly tightly to remove some dead brown material which intruded into the shot. I hadn't realised just what fine detail was there until I saw the shot on the monitor. Regretably I failed to get the name of the plant.

Suey - Yes, thanks, at last. I hope both Mark and yourself steer clear of it, it's a rather nasty strain of 'flu' - can't remember feeling so bad for so long.

These plants are great, aren't they, and I have one growing in a pot which coincidentally I was just studying this morning because the leaves have the imprints on them from the leaf that was on top them before unfolding. That's a bit of a long sentence, hope it makes sense. Anyway, this is an excellent composition and am inspired to see if can get a picture of mine.

Thanks for taking a look, Lydia, and for the comments and click, appreciated. I really did not notice the imprint detail originally, it's quite amazing, just jumped out at me when I saw it on the monitor.
