'The Chain Gang'

By briantjjones
An image of an old anchor chain on the dockside at Kirkcudbright harbour in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland. What appealed to me was how the low setting sun caught and highlighted just a few of the links and a shackle. I think it was the colour that I first noticed and wanted to capture.

Thanks for taking the time to view.

Kind Regards, Brian J.

The warming light seems to add a wonderful glow to the rustic hues.

Lovely colours. A few months back i uploaded a photo of the very same chain: it's a small world. We visited Kirkcudbright last year. Some very colourful houses in the smaller streets!
