'There's a Moose Loose...'

By briantjjones
A chance encounter with a large moose while on a trip through the Denali National park in Alaska August 2012. The moose had just shed the velvet from it's antlers, hence the far one looks overexposed but it is almost white in reallity. It was the autumn window of only a few weeks between the end of summer and the first snow falls which happen in early September. The shot was taken from a fair distance so not to disturb the moose.
