I love the composition and the arched wings certainly give the Owl and mean and moody countenance.

I do have to say though that I feel that the point of focus is slightly ahead of the birds eyes as they are just a little bit soft (the grass in the left foreground does seem sharper than the bird's eyes)

Still a good photo though Smile

That is so good.....1st class work,,award well deserved.....I'm still trying to get a bird in flight......cant imagine getting one this good...
