Great shot ...we have these trees in Africa as well, they really do grow big. I may have trimmed the image to get rid of the stray branches top right.

amazing specimen, the tree has a very long life span & can hold up to 120,000 liters of water & reputed to live up to 6,000 years old (carbon dating). See this article:

Amazing tree, I wonder if they are similar to the African one, ours gives large seedpods about 12 ins long, and used to be an important source of tartaric acid. Regards Martin

First I ever saw of a tree that could take such a full shape. We have some big trees here on Vancouver Island yet nothing that short and wide so far. Saw a very wide tree in India. Wonder if the dry climate causes this shape to conserve water. You have some of the most unusual and interesting images Britchie. So well done. TG

It looks like a small Baobab tree. There are some enormous specimens in Africa. I think the ones in Andalucia are not the same species, but the smaller Adenium. There is a folk tale that says God forgot these trees during Creation and flung them down at the last minute, which is why the roots are on the top! (They are not roots, of course, but when they have no leaves they look like roots!)
