100's & 1000's

By Britman
Attended a Flickr strobist meetup yesterday, we had two studio setups, with one of them using my Elemental kit (first time it's been used on real anger)

While I'm pleased enough with this shot it's not what I had planned, I didn't spend as much time as I'd have liked setting it up. I felt under pressure with the thought that I was taking too much time from the other togs.

I can also only see the flaws in the shot Smile Which I know how to correct.

One thing learned, I think I'm past doing these group studio sessions, I don't think you learn a thing past the basics, you don't get chance to change the setup and try different lighting.

Sorry for the rant :o)

These group sessions are not the best way to shot models. However it's often the only way many togs can shoot professional models in a professional studio the cost of hiring a model and studio is just too much for many of us. Remember others have paid money as well and they also want their money's worth.

I like your image and the model is very pretty.
