Eurasian Griffon Vulture (Gyps Fulvus)

This was taken at The Hawk Conservancy in Andover during one of their flying displays. This particular Eurasian Griffon Vulture is called Macawber and flew and posed in convienient places to allow photographs to be taken.

I like Vultures as they seem to have a personality that can be easily reflected in photographs. I hope that you enjoy this photo and Thanks for all C/C's on any other photos that I have posted.

Well done Victoria. This is a very well timed shot and very well exposed. There is some good detail in the plumage and that beak looks sharp enough to cut a cake. One of your better ones.
