Lowland Bongo (Tragelaphus Eurycerus Eurycerus)

This shot of the Western or Lowland Bongo was taken at Howletts Zoo in Kent. I had an interesting day and managed to photograph this animal that is in grave danger of becoming extinct in the wild, also the fact that it is native to the African Forests means that it is not easily photographed!

I hope that you like this photograph as much as I do. Thanks for all your C/C's on my Dhole.

Excellent shot Victoria. I have not seen one of these before and I think you have got the crop and presentation just about right. Good lighting with some very good detail on the animals coat. Exposure is fine. I think you really deserve an extra vote as a reward for spending all that time typing that name !!! What a title; no wonder he looks pleased with himself.

Well I missed this shot Excellent I think you shuold take your gandad out with you give some pointer's,great shot and glade your posting more.
