Autumn beauties

By brownsilent
Hi all,
finally the connection and the speed of the site is fast enough to get some images uploaded. I had big problems during the past two weeks, as soon as I wanted to upload, the site froze. I don't know if it was the connection or the very slow speed of the site, or even both - I quite got fed up... Even commenting is a test of patience.

Here are some of the last beauties I have in my garden. They even resisted yesterday's frost. Winter is knocking on our door, snow is in the air, we can already smell it.

Hope you enjoy these, and with a bit of luck I might even be able to leave a few comments. Smile

I wish you all a good rest of the week and a great weekend, shouldn't I come by everyone's pf till then.

beautiful and lovely close ups Johanna, glad you have a fast server now, mine is slower due of that strongest typhoon this year in the whole world. Thank God only minimal casualties but tremendous agricultural lost.

Beautiful shots - well done! Nicely finished off with suitable surrounds. Number 4 particularly notable and I like the "ground glass" frame. I would go for No 1 as the best image (perhaps a little bit of sharpening in the centre would help?).
Good work.

Lovely set of images! All of them are great; and I find V4 quite fascinating. Well done.

V2 for me Johanna but I like the effect in V4, you've had some fun. The site has been very slow at times Johanna, it's very frustrating when you have limited time.
I'll be away most of today, so we'll see how it goes later?

Gorgeous soft light. I'll go for V2 for that shy little bud, coyly turning away. But V4 is fun!

Lovely shots of the anemone, Johanna, with V 2 being my own favourite. I like the under-lighting and the crispness of the centre of the bloom. They are such attractive plants, but when we had one in a herbaceous border it invaded everything else around.
(PS. I often find the site slow and just freezes up......just have to give up and try again later. R.)

Have struggled this evening to vote, never mind comment! Been very slow for several days. Love these Japanese anemones and their lovely back lighting. V2 for me, then V1.

You've caught your lovely flowers in a wonderful light Johanna, and I love what you've done with V4, haven't done that myself for some time!
Rgds., Jim
PS. I guess we're all having problems with slowness, every now and then this just freezes up and I have to wait for ages before it decides to do what I asked. I thought it was my computer being +4 years old.

Getting cold here too, -1.5 last night. One of my most loved flowers which sadly doesn't seem to want to thrive in our garden. V2 and V4 are my favourites.

Some great treatment in V4 but as a natural shot I prefer V2 as it has a much better comp IMHO.
Thanks for your continued support.
