  • Sprite

Happy looking beast! If the lighting conditions were bad then you did very well! Shame about the reflections though, nothing you can help!

Aahhh... a subject close to my heart! I love lights, I would have been all over these with my camera if I was there! A stunning capture with a beautiful range of colours. Could I ask what ISO you were at?

Are you sure they're not sisters Wink
Excellent posing... would just leave a bit more headroom so there are no chopped heads.

  • 'Big Wig'

I have seen some highspeed footage of some cockerels (it was an art display) and even slowed RIGHT down, their heads moved so quickly!

This is a beautiful low-key portrait of a beautiful hen. Only crit I can think of is the tight cropping. Portrait orientaion would work well, but I suppose with a fast moving animal it is not always achievable. Apart from that, the eye is sharp and the side on view works for me!

  • White Cosmos

Looks white to me! A very quaint image that gets my vote (not because you weren't fishing!!)

  • Joceline

If that's how you roll then roll on! I vote for the unique pose, but it could do with a TAD more exposure?

  • Red squirrel

Great capture of a squirrel doing what they do best. You are very lucky though... I have only ever seen one Red Squirrel in my entire life. Hope it comes back!!

This is a very pleasing shot with or without the man himself!

I do see it, but I am having a hard time trying to imagine it just being melted wax??!?!

  • Andy's Cool

Andy sure is cool! I like the treatment here too and the brave wide angle! I take it that's a flash over at the right? Pretty cool.

    Here's my thoughts...
The jaunty angle, the composition, the long exposure (headlights in the BG) and the subject are spot on. However, I feel if you were going to do a long exposure then you would have some time to paint the car a little with some extra light or an external flash, instead of relying on the streetlamps. That would make it pop from the background and remove some of the uncomfortable "Orangeness".

Having said that, I am loving the menacing glow from the headlights!
