Sorry, I uploaded the wrong version, my apologies for anyone who commented or liked.
This is Amyelia Metall, we shot this vintage type theme at Hadlow Road Station, Willaston, which is a renovated 1950's ish railway station.
Thanks for looking.
totally love this shot Tony- and the set it came from. You got a great vibe with the shoot and show how good a photographer you are becoming. Its good to see you grow.
thank you Sir, truly appreciate those very kind words.
and you know they are genuine and heart felt, Tony.
Love the soft light from the window H x
Would have given this a UA Anthony apart from that bloomin' nose ring - it completely spoils the vibe for me.
Adam, she offered to hide it, but like I said to her, she had it fitted for a reason, and it was not to hide it. So while I could have removed it, its a part of who Amyelia is, so I would'nt do that.
Appreciate the thought thouugh. Thanks.
Ah, but Anthony to me this image isn't about the model, but about the illusion and narrative your creating. The feel is clearly late 40/50's and the ring just doesn't fit this era. Perhaps your model gets this - remember she is there to do a job, and being professional by hiding a nose ring is still part of who she is. If the purpose of the image was to show who your model is as a person, then perhaps a 50's setting wasn't appropriate.
Just a thought... I don't mean to be harsh because there is so much to commend here.
Like the light Tony, think Adam makes a good point above
not at all Adam, not harsh at all. I liked the contrast between the "vintage" feel and the "modern" dressings. Your points are valid and no offence taken at all, but I was happy with it like this.
Appreciate the comments and the sentiments and most of all the Guest Editors Award, woop woop. ha ha
thank you Tom, really appreciate the UA. Cheers.
Great use of available light in this mate, well done!
well done Tony.....amazing we both won guest editors award on the same day and both images are side by side. Proud to share the limelight with you mate.
