What a superb environmental portrait. You've really caught the character of the subject, and the setting adds hugely to the effect. We were going there this year, but that's off now, course, so it's all the more interesting to see well crafted images of the place and its people.

He is very well placed in the frame with all that stuff around him.
He looks like a right old character who could tell you many, many stories from his life.
I wonder if that is him sitting on the horse in the picture to his right, whoever it is looks very ' military'.
