Grey heron

Something different today.
At Richards Bay South Africa we took a boat out on the St. Lucia lake to see the Hippo's and Crocs.
The Heron was on the bank and I managed to get this unusual view of it.

That is a marvellous portrait! The clarity and detail of the head is set off so well by the softness of the rest of the image. Memorable image!!!
