I wasnt going to upload this image. In fact I was going to delete it from my files. I kept it because of 3 reasons.

- First the detail in the leaf, I think, is amazing.
- Secondly I managed to get a great DOF!
- Thirdly, there is a little house in the droplet. It is my neighbours house. I wish I took more Photos of this, then I may have gotten one with the drop in focus. But it was the last photo I took as I ran inside as the rain came down AGAIN!

All I did to this photo is drawn out the leaf detail a little, crop and frame.

Thank you as always for all you C&C's. Very much appreciated!

I can see why you kept it, a lovely shot. Worth trying to recreate I think as it would be improved with the drop in focus.

I know Andy. I am so sad that it isnt. Ive been checking the same spot all day as its been raining, but alas the water isnt making a drop big enough.

Certainly some cracking detail in the leaf, worth trying again when its not raining and spraying the leaf with water first to create the effect and then you can take as many shots as you like. Ann

Very well worth keeping - lovely colour and textures. Perhaps we may see version 2 in the future???
