Blue Tit Feeding on Apple

Not an intentional set-up this. Whilst waiting for the Kingfisher to turn up (it didn't), I had my dinner.

I took a bite of my apple and discovered it was going bad. So, I left the apple out, just in case a regularly visiting bank vole decided to take a bite (it didn't).

After about an hour I'd forgotten about it, but then I heard a tweet and turned around to see this hungry blue tit, sticking his head in the apple! I have shots with his head in, but I like seeing his tongue in this one. Tongue
