Yup..those lines, and the ripples and faint streaks in the sand can almost make you feel you’re it....Smile

Sculptural and sensual, lovely shapes and tones and texture, and the shrub is a masterful addition.

Superb image with wonderful detail........imho I think you have another image in this if you cropped the top off across where the dune goes out of the frame LH side. It would take the shrub out of its 50 - 50 position in frame.

It's a lovely image, marred slightly for me by use of the dodge tool on the lower area of branches. I'd like to see the dark tones brought back there.

Many thanks indeed to Trev for the Guest Edtior award! GrinGrinGrinGrin

Huge thanks to Alfiek, Richmowil, Saxon, Pamelajean, Bricurtis and RobboB for their much appreciated user awards! GrinGrinGrinGrin

Bricurtis, thanks for the constructive critique, I may well try your crop suggestion. Smile

Mrswoolybill, you are right, that area troubles me too and I have tried to remedy it with perhaps too heavy a hand. It is on the original raw file and appears to be caused by wind blowing the sand. Will have another go a processing it. Smile

Thanks again to everyone for the great feedback on this image.
