Kestrel in Flight

Wish I had more frames per second!

Totally out grown my D7200, which takes great images, but sure as hell chugs along when it comes to frame rate. I get half of the front of the bird frame left, and half the back of the bird, frame right, 95% of the time.

So, this is the best I managed - yes you guess it, it was close to frame right, hence the squarish crop. High ISO aside, it isn't too bad. Smile

D500 (or Z50) on the wish list.

Lovely detail - getting birds central is difficult and I have been told you should leave space for the bird to fly into.

When I had my first DSLR a canon EOS 400D I had to good learning curve and not rely on a having a great camera.
So to take a great image like this with a D7200 is a great use of skill, well done.
